Kurt Hewes Professional Hitting Instruction
What you need to know
The use of video cameras have changed the way most serious athletes and coaches prepare, however, it hasn’t changed the way many hitting coaches and instructors teach. Unfortunately, coaches at the highest levels still teach misguided theories that consistently produce weak ground balls and pop flies.
It is my mission to help baseball and softball players, by utilizing slow motion video, to teach a swing that is biomechanically efficient, powerful and validated by great major league hitters.

Cancellation Policy
Advance Payment and Cancellations
You will need to pay for you lessons in advance in order to reserve a time slot. The easiest way to pay, would be to either pay at the time of the previous lesson, or use pay pal (on my website) to pay at the time you reserve a time slot on my calendar.
If you can’t make your scheduled lesson you must cancel at least one day in advance (24 hours) via phone or e-mail. It’s important to understand that I am not selling just a lesson, I am also selling a time slot to teach a lesson. So if you have scheduled a lesson with me, but forget to attend, (or forget to cancel in time) I will still need to charge you for the missed slot that other athletes could have used.
Cancellations in the event of emergency will be handled on a case by case basis.
5 for 4 Lesson Packs:
If you are a lesson pack purchaser, that same policy applies, missing a scheduled lesson will take you to the next lesson in your pack. For example, if you miss the 3rd lesson in you pack when you schedule with me again, you will be scheduling the 4th lesson in your pack.

Bio
A Vermont native, I have experience playing baseball both at the high school and collegiate level. I played college baseball at Castleton State College where I was part of a Conference Championship and two NCAA Regional Tournament victories in 2010. I have been coaching and giving private hitting lessons for the past few years. I started giving lessons in Vermont before I moved to the D.C. area. Once inside the beltway, I began approaching lessons as a profession and am now turning this into a full-time business. I give hitting lessons that are dramatically different from the norm and are biomechanically validated.
